I am sorry if this is the wrong sub forum but it seems like the best choice to post my question.

I am getting my new laptop tomorrow and was wondering if my specs were any good.
Also will it be ok for gaming e.g modern warfare 2/ WoW.

Call of duty is quite easy going when it comes to system resources so I don't think you should have any problems at least running it.

It's a nice laptop your getting there with some good features and it should enable you to play some games. How good will depend on the games your trying to play. Some require more juice than others.

If you need any further assistance just ask.

Good luck with your new laptop.

That is a good laptop for what you are doing. When I started reading your post, I saw the word laptop. Nearly went to another forum, but saw that the laptop you are getting has a gaming/video card, which specializes in improving performance in games.

That is for a high spec Card, which you need for high end spec games (Such as CoD)

I am in the process of looking for the best for you for the cheapest price :)

Well, my laptop that has Intel GMA 4500MHD 256MB can play Modern Warfare 2.
Although there are some lags.. But with ATI Radeon, it should play well with some experiencing on lags.

Recommend upgrade to at least 512Mb (my friend's laptop play Left 4 Dead well with 512MB)

Does anybody have info on how WoW runs on ATI RADEON HD 4200 (256MB) graphics card? That is the main thing i will be playing, it doesn't need to be an amazing experience as long as it isn't choppy.

If the card can't handle it i will upgrade to ASUS ATI Radeon HD 5770 CuCore PCI-E Graphics Card - 1GB
