thank you very much for me it seems like i can't make a system good enough unless i have some sort of big spending budget

Top end performance means $$$

But as long as what you have does what you need - that's all that counts.

i built this on the fly but now i feel i should have stepped up to ddr3 instead of ddr2 cause i feel now i wasted money on ram when i could of had it upgraded to the latest

I wouldn't be too concerned at all about the difference between DDR2 and DDR3.

Honestly, the speed difference is barely noticeable.

I don't know what your latency, Read/Write/Copy performance is like - but that Winsat score is certainly decent enough.
