Arrow keys not scrolling in windows explorer

OK I tried opening the pics (on which Windows Photo Viewer was causing the sound) in MS Paint and MS Photo Editor and there was no sound.

I haven't found anything definitive yet.

I'm trying to understand why only one out of three native (windows) photo viewers would produce that sound, the only thing I can come up with is the programming within Photo Viewer (PV) is different from the other two.

When you open disk cleanup (the how-to is in the clear cache tutorial) scroll down a bit to place a check in the box if it isn't already checked, Go over the other listed items and clear the check marks if you don't want to clean them up.

If you've never done this before be advised, you will notice a lag time in opening your pics until the cache has had time to rebuild.
