Artist Info When Burning

Can anyone help me please ? Im new to windows 7 and have burned some CDs but when i play that disc in another player like my car stereo its now showing the Artist/Track info. Its the same on all my players, i am sure i had to enable this on previouse versions but i cant seem to find how to do this ? As i say i am a new user and could do with some help if possible ? Thanks in advance

I'm guessing he means "not showing", which would imply a tagging issue.

Hi - does anyone know how to enable the Artist informtion (the artists name and song) on windows Media Player so that when you play in another stereo it shows this ? I have had a look but cant seem to find the info i need. Any help is appreciated

Are you burning mp3 files? If you right click on an mp3 file in Windows-7, select properties then details you can enter artist info. If it's a commercial CD you've ripped in Windows Media Player you should be able to get info from an online database. Look under "Options" in WMP, specifically the "Burn" and "Privacy" tabs.

I don't do this much so maybe someone else can jump in here.
