aspi32.sys incompatibility

Hello everyone,

I have two types of events in my sys log which cause me concern :

Event 7000, Service Control Manager
The Aspi32 service failed to start due to the following error:
This driver has been blocked from loading

Event 1060, Application Popup
\SystemRoot\SysWow64\drivers\aspi32.sys has been blocked from loading due to incompatibility with this system. Please contact your software vendor for a compatible version of the driver.

Not knowing exactly what i'm doing i downloaded a ASPI checker which i screenshoted and attached to this thread for you to see.

Any idea on how to fix this would make me very happy

ASPI is not supported by Microsoft for all versions of Windows
To remove this error, you need to locate the program that tried to install the ASPI drivers (namely 32bit - not working with your 64 Bit)
Or, you could do a System Restore, back to when all was OK
Updating the ASPI drivers is the last option

Sorry for the delay. I'm running Win7 64 bit

Do you know a specific way of doing that ?

Or, you could do a System Restore, back to when all was OK

Sadly, that's not an option as this PC has undergone hundred of tweaks, BSOD, reg cleaning and such since install day.
