Thank you everyone for attempting to assist me in correcting the software installation for my HP product. Please note, that when attempting to install the software downloaded from the HP site, I receive the error message. Apparently, a file that should be in Local/Temp file is missing, or cannot be accessed? (Without any access to that file the software cannot be installed. Please view the screen capture that I included in a previous post and posted below.)

Suggestions, please. Once again, thank you!

That picture doesn't tell me a lot. Have you tried anything we have suggested. Please tell us what your have tried and the results. Many sites have been posted. Have you gone to any of them and did anything recommended.
Give this a try. Remove all printer drivers. Shut down computer. Make sure printer is hooked up correctly. Boot computer and see if Windows 7 will install the drivers. Try printing and let us know what did or did not happen.
Note: Installing HP software is completely different from installing necessary drivers to enable the printer. Many printers come with little add on programs that have nothing to do with the printers capabilities to print. When drives are update so the printer will print using Window 7 does not mean that those little add on programs are also updated.

Have you completely uninstalled all of the printer's multiple software listings in Control Panel>Programs and Features, rebooted and tried the latest installer again?

If this continues to fail I would roll back to a System Restore point before you began trying to install the printer, then if that fails go back even further to try to get before the apparent corruption.

I have, and had tried the suggestions put forth in this forum. The printer drivers are installed and operational. However, the printer's functions are limited without the software installation, which so far, has proven to be problematic.

All printer software has been removed, and I have attempted to reinstall the software, but with no success. I, also, have used system restore, but again, with no success.

Try installing from Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Forums

If this will not work then you have System corruption. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command, if necessary consider a Repair Install or to get the best possible install without corrupting bloatware I would advance to a Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7.
I have run SEC /scannow previously. Should I choose to run the five repair disks made when I purchased this Toshiba L750 laptop, I will completely remove everything from the hard drive, which may be the only option. :(

If you're running the five Recovery disks then you're reinstalling all of the corrupting crapware which sponsors pay Toshiba to lard onto your PC to keep its cost down, along with a dozen or more useless duplicate utilties which further throttle Win7 from its native instantaneous state.

You wouldn't want to run the disks anyway since they are for backup only. The correct method is to boot the Recovery partition to run Toshiba HDD Recovery Utility.

But instead I would run the vastly superior Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 - everything you need is in the blue link. At the step where you boot the WIn7 installation DVD or flash stick, you would want to delete all but the Recovery partition, create new partition to install.

Thank you for all of your help. Your suggestion has merit. I will have to consider it, which appears to be the best alternative, but seems to be quite an undertaking? I have not undertaken such a task on any computer previously.

You might be able to get by with only a Repair Install using the installer provided in Step 1 of Clean Reinstall tutorial. This keeps everything in place but reinstalls only the OS.

However some corrupt settings changes and tweaks may be passed back through when files, settings and programs are reloaded so it may not solve the problem. But it is worth a try.

However keep in mind that whatever you do short of the Clean Reinstall is swimming against a tide of lard which is throttling the best OS ever, so having a Clean Reinstall is actually better than buying a new PC.

Whatever you decide we are here to help you.

Seeker because you can use this HP program and printer on another Windows 7 computer it should work on this computer but doesn't.
Your use of Wise Cleaner (post #5)I believe has moved or removed things needed to allow you to install the HP programs on this computer.
In my opinion the best cure for this problem would be using Gregs method of a Clean Install. Install your HP printer and program. Install MSE. Never use Wise anything again.
Have a nice day.

Yes, I concur. Thw only way to) restore complete functionality of the printer and software is to follow the suggestion. Time availability is problematic!

You, also, have a great day! (In this part of North America it is snowing and freezing. Brr!)

Reboot and logon under Seath. Clear folder C:\Users\Seath\AppData\local\Temp as much as possible. So delete everything you can there. Try to install the driver. What's now in C:\Users\Seath\AppData\local\Temp ?

Install software is searching for 7zS63E in Temp folder. Have you any folder in Temp that starts with 7z (give me the exact name)? If so open that folder and its subfolders. Blocksysuserinstall.exe found there?
