ASUS A78M-A, front USB 3 ports, not recognized

Hi, ive just bought in a batch of ASUS A78M-A motherboards for some customers, fully installed with the latest chipset drivers from AMD, thought I should check the front USB 3 ports to find it comes up with anything plugged in (USB3 WD external drive + 16Gb Sandisk dongle) as "Not Recognized".

Updated the bios latest version and still nothing! any suggestions?

well thats embarrassing, always check the basics plugged the USB 3 header cable in upside down, not sure why fitted, and though obviously checked to make sure never noticed! thanks
