Hey guys, I am having a really strange problem as i try to install Windows 7 64 bit on my Asus G71GX-RX05. It won't access the hard drive and the driver just won't work. Do you guys have any suggestions on what could be the problem and even better a fix???

When you say the drive just won't work what exactly do you mean. It could be that you have a faulty hard drive and the rest of your computer is fine. You may want to test out the hard drive before you write off the computer itself. Just take the hard drive to a friends house and connect it to their desktop. If you can format/access the drive and place files on it then the drive itself is ok and you probably have an issue with your laptop. If the drive is broken then you just need a new one.

While opening the laptop up I noticed it didn't have one:o. The seller said it had a 500 GB HDD so I assumed it had one. Thank you very much for your help
