Hello guys!

Last night I closed my laptop to sleep as usual, and today I woke up to a asus preload wizard screen, which of course I canceled, because I didn't wanna loose my data. (Last backup is 3 month, and I have the most important stuff but still).

I've had that once before, and when I just runned windows normaly it went away. This time it didn't work.
Things I tried :

- Safe mode
- Start with the last know good configuration in BIOS

None of them works and always resend me to asus reload, which when canceled sens me to a choice of either windows repair startup which I don't wanna run, or to run windows as usually which fails and sends me to asus load again.

How can I save my data and get rid of this problem?

Thank you very much !

You can attach the harddisk to another PC to get the data off. Or try to use a Linux Live distro if you also have an external drive.
Just make sure you don't install Linux and select something like "try" so it loads into memory only.

Is there any other way? Attaching the disk to another pc seems like a lot of work in the case of a laptop :/

Not really, can you not unscrew few screws? No need to take everything apart, there should be a hatch under the laptop for harddisk, and 4-6 screws that hold it in place
