Asus recovery problem please help - YouTube i am facing the same problem.watch video.i google about this problem,but got nohting.please help .

when i start recovery process,its is fine at 98 percent.at 98 percent some file gets fail.and after 100 percent its shows the same screen as i post in video..and then stuck in error as shown in video..i don't know what to do..hope you got my point

Is the recovery disk nice and clean and free from scratches.

it sounds like an unreadable disk, and other asus recovery disks have been reported with similar faults.

You can try putting your recovery DVD into another machine, making an image of it and then burning that image onto a new disk at a low speed (the recommended minimum for the disc you are using) e.g. 4x

Failing that, download windows from digital river, burn it to disk (or USB) and install a bloatware free version of windows, adding the software you actually use from the asus website later.

You can not download an ISO from DR anymore.

You can use this site, but only if you have a Retail Key.

Microsoft Software Recovery

Worst case scenario, call Asus for brand new Recovery discs, or make a copy of your discs, that will remove any scratches.

If you`re having this problem using the Recovery partition, then it`s corrupted.

New discs will solve all the problems.
