ASUS Xonar DS Advice

So I should be getting a Xonar DS in a couple of days if all goes as planned (along with a 2500k + P8P67 combo), one question I have is: what driver should I be installing once I reinstall Windows 7? The latest from ASUS.com? or those Unified Xonar drivers I've been hearing so much about?

stick with the original driver for the piece of hardware first..then start messing with the newest and latest drivers being released, sort of like the drivers for GPU's, install the one that comes with the card then start checking the new released drivers. So you know what works best and compatible with your system.
