I am trying to create an ad-hoc network. Supposedly the driver installs but I can't create an ad-hoc network with Manage wireless>add nor see an option in adapter properties.

I have access to a Vista server if I should install that on it..since trying to create one for the work.

Any help?

There's a better solution than ad hoc. You can use your wifi to receive your internet and share it at the same time. You can also use your lan connection to share over wireless like a normal ad-hoc network. This solution also comes with WPA2 encryption and shows up as a hotspot, not ad-hoc.

Connectify - Turn your Windows 7 laptop into a Wi-Fi Hotspot

Note sure if these are in english, but here are the drivers: ATHEROS drivers for Microsoft Windows
