A laptop of mine is BSOD-ing at startup, so far I had tried methods over google, but couldn't get the problem solved. This laptop is old and outdated, but hey, who would just lay it around in dust, knowing that it can be fixed?
I reformatted it multiple times and the problem only occurs when I install the latest AMD drivers.
Would appreciate any help coming from any of you.
*Note: only driver installed is AMD Catalyst

It is AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000 Series graphics, so it should take any of the latest drivers.

But it is failing to hold the driver. You said the latest one, is it 14.12 Omega, or 15.3 Beta?
Code:
---------------
Display Devices
---------------
          Card name:
       Manufacturer:
          Chip type:
           DAC type:
         [COLOR=Red]Device Key: Enum\[/COLOR]
     Display Memory: n/a
   Dedicated Memory: n/a
      Shared Memory: n/a
       [COLOR=Red]Current Mode: 800 x 600[/COLOR] (32 bit) (1Hz)
Uninstall the installed display driver using DDU. Then install the CCC 14.4 WHQL only.

Does it take the display driver? Does it produce the actual graphics?

If not, we have to decide that the display chip is failing to do its job and it should be replaced.

Unfortunately no, mate.
Try to replace the graphics chip.
