I have a Dell XPS series which has a problem with its audio adapter.
It detects a device attached nevertheless the device is not attached, because it says that it is attached the speakers of my laptop don't make a sound. Knipsel.PNG Can somebody help me with this and see if it is either a hardware or software problem, and if software help solve it?

Kind regards,

Sten

It looks like S/PDIF (Digital) is set as the default playback device. The "Speakers" should be set as the Default Playback device.

To to the Control Panel/Hardware and Sound and finally the Sound Panel, Playback section to set the default playback device.
