Audio Drivers from Intel

I am running Windows7 on an Intel D865GLC motherboard and trying to use on-board sound.
Windows 7 will not load a driver and a visit to the Intel website reveals that they are not intending to support Windows7 drivers for such an 'old' board.
It might be a bit 'old' but is about all I can afford !
Does anyone know what options I have ? Maybe a Soundblaster card ? But is that Windows7 supported by Creative ?
Anyone any thoughts ?
Thanks

Too bad. That motherboard came out in 2004. How long do you expect support?
Have you considered turning off the audio and buying a PCI sound card?
Might be time to consider an upgrade.

Thanks Fabe,
The MS site says all the right things but when it is installed I get Blue Screen of Death !
No matter, will try a Creative card.
