Well I thought I would report back that miracles do happen. I had to re-install Windows 7 64, and when I was done, low and behold my finger print scanner now works with Windows 7 64 bit on my Asus. Don't know what changed, and really don't care. My advice for anyone having this problem is back up your files, re-install the software and see if that works. I can now use my finger print scanner to log into Vista 32 or Windows 7 64. I'm a happy man.
