Hi,

I purchased a new ssd and was resizing partitions (back up partitions first) and moving them around using gparted , reboot a was greeted by an error causing windows to not boot at all. Booted off of the repair cd. It said it found a problem I told it to fix it and reboot. Windows now loaded but after the Starting Windows animation i get "Autochk program not found - skipping autocheck" and then a BSOD saying:

STOP: c000021a (Fatal System Error)
The Session Manager Initialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a
status of 0xc0000003a (0x00000000 0x00000000)
The system has been shutdown.

So this is what I tried after googling a little bit.
-Windows startup repair ran 3+ times in row
-Checked with GParted the partition is not marked as hidden
-Chkdsk didn't find anything
-Sfc won't run say that "there is a system repair pending which requires a reboot to complete. Restart windows and run sfc again." (tried still won't run)
-I verified that autochk existed
-ran every option of bootrec
-I enable boot logging the log is attached
-Safemode won't boot--give me the same error and bsods

More information about my system
-I use avg antivirus
-Nothing from norton has ever been installed

Does anyone have any suggestions? Like I said I have all my files backup, but do not want to have to do a complete reinstall unless absolutely necessary.

Thank You for all your help in advance,
Trcx

In Command Prompt (at Windows 7 Repair/Startup Repair), type... in the commands....

bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /Rebuildbcd

If those does not work, I would use System Restore to restore to a point before the problem started.

If you need help or want to ask a question - please do not hesitate to ask.

Already tried

I already tried the bootrec several time with all the different options, anyways the mbr is fine because windows starts to load (ie see the windows animation) it is after windows loads that the trouble starts. I looked at system restore, and it says that it can not find any restore points, which is funny because they should be some.

Here are some more logs I hope they help

Never mind I just did a clean install :) anyway after reading the tutorial it says that you can not boot off the disk you must be in windows to do a repair install. I was unable to boot into windows, safe mode, or last good configuration. Oh well I need the computer to be working today so I decided to just reinstall windows. I had wasted to much time trying to fix the problem. THANKS for everything tho
