Automatic Internet connection

I am using a wired DSL internet connection through a modem supplied by local ISP. After starting windows I see some activity on the internet icon on the task bar like searching. Till it stops and failure sign appears I cannot connect to internet. In the mean time antivirus searching for update also gives failure notice. Both I have to do manually after that. Is there provision to connect to internet once windows started? Password is already saved

Yes, Have you tried Clicking the Network icon, clicking your Connection, and selecting connect automatically?

Hello param. even tho this worked, if you dont mind, can you reboot a few times and confirm that ticking that option still connects and reports your adapter correctly? Also as to what adapter make/model you have. Trying to keep tabs on this myself. I also take it that you are on the 7100 RC as well?

yes, I am using winRc 7100 and modem is speedtouch 330 ADSL
