Hi, when i open IE8 i have to click on the address bar first before i can type but on my other PC i don't, i can just start typing. I have checked both settings for IE8 and they seem the same so am i missing something else?

Thanks

Welcome to Seven Forums evers. I believe the default is for the address bar to be in focus on opening as in your other PC. In fact, I remember people complaining that the address bar grabbed focus when they were typing in the search field while a web page was opening. One thing to try is running IE8 without addons to see if an addon is the cause:

Start> All Programs> Accessories> System Tools> Internet Explorer (no Add-ons)

You can also try reseting IE8
