Solved Background is stuck

I've searched for a solution to this problem but haven't found anything

AMD Catalyst upgraded itself and ever since then my desktop background has been stuck on the same picture--which is fine, it's not a bad picture, but I have it set to rotate between 1000 pictures.

I've tried going into "personalize" and manually changing the wallpaper but it doesn't change anything...if I change the theme everything changes EXCEPT the background.

I've ensured that I'm up to date on everything via windows update.

And yes, this is a real, full version of windows 7.

Anyone have suggestions?

Start with http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html reboot if violations are found.

Keep us posted for further suggestions.

Try the following.

1. Press the Windows Logo Key + R to open the Run box.


2. Copy and paste the following path into the box, then press OK:

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Themes\


3. Delete the TranscodedWallpaper.jpg file, and then try to change your theme again.
