this problem is mostly my fault, but i can't seem to fix it. i don't like the backup functionality and wanted to use a third party one. i was using it and had it on a schedule. i deleted the backup files on my backup drive, but forgot to turn off the back up. now the action center in the sys tray says a backup is in progress all the time. it was crashing frequently for a while till i disabled the back up in services. so seems stable for now, but the sys tray still says a back up is in progress. any ideas?

Hi and welcome

So you now dont have a backup to restore from, right? Is the system working ok besides the backup services?
