Cannot find Windows Backup even though it's on an internal drive.

I backed up Windows 10 via control panel before going to Linux. I am back on 7 now but I want to restore my backup.

I will go back to 10 once I get some more ram but in the mean time why can't Windows find my backup?

did you move or rename it ?

windows 10 bmrui.exe looks on the root of all partitions for a folder called windowsimagebackup. You need to use windows 10 boot.wim or windows 10 winre.wim

It also posible to restore the .vhd(x) using the free version of diskgenius.
