Backup Fails ... Events 517/4104 (0x80070002)

Trying to backup Win7 to external 1TB IOMEGA and get the (subject) errors after 7 hours. (see attachment for Event log data.)
Previous to try had formatted external just in case.

Win backup has never worked (for 2 years).
