All of s sudden System Restore stops working(unable to create restore point automatically or manually) and system/files backup to external HD also fails. Both...explanation: specified object not found.
Detailed explanation: VSS and SPP issues. So I checked SERVICES for VSS and SPP and set them on START and Manual setting, to no avail; START and AUTOMATIC setting, also to no avail.
I checked for infection with both MBAM and MSE... no malwares found. I did sfc /scannow and chkdsk scans... found no issues. Memory diagnostics 2-passes were all passed 100%.
What went wrong? Help, please!
