bar at top middle

Hi i m new in al this field, so not aware of proper terms to use.
i hav a dell studio 1555 laptop with windows7 home premium 64 bit installed.
now my problem is that when i brought my laptop few days b4 in the top middle of the desktop i had a bar which included IM, WEBCAB, Media center , audio, etc.. but what i did i dont know but the bar disappeared. it was serving very helpful to me. i am having da taskbar at the bottom but missing that bar top middle aero style.

May be, but how did it itself disappeared. is it some settings problem, and does it comes with windows itself?

I have seen Dell computers with a "Dell Dock"

I would look in your programs at the start menu for something called "Dell Dock" or similar. It's not a Windows program, but it's probably installed on your computer. It's a Dell program. You probably need to start it, then go into options and make it start when Windows starts if you like it. Good luck
