Solved Batch convert text to pdf

Hi Friends!

I am running Windows 7 Home Basic 64 bit, which I guess is fully updated.

I have got some 500+ small text files mostly written in Notepad, which I need to convert to pdf format. Is there a free tool that can help me? Or the only way out is to write a script, something I am totally unfamiliar with?

All I am aware of is that - batch or bulk conversion of files from one format to another in Windows is possible via scripting, but I am not sure as to what extent this is possible and from which format to which format.

In future, I would love to batch convert from

text to pdf and vice versa
docx to pdf and vice versa
html to pdf and vice versa
png to pdf and vice versa
jpg to pdf and vice versa
excel to pdf and vice versa
ppt to pdf and vice versa

The only way I know to convert a file to PDF is using a PDF "printer". You install a PDF reader and printer, open the file on the default program and "print" on the PDF "printer".

2/3: Use Adobe Acrobat XI

Found the following with a quick Google - Zilla TXT To PDF Converter - FREEWARE - seems to do batch conversions but no idea if it is any good or otherwise. There is also a paid version so the number you can convert at any one time might be restricted at a guess.

I did see something about converting in Google Drive as well while searching - see Method 4 at the following: 4 Ways to Convert Text to PDF - wikiHow - maybe you could select more than one at a time and see what options you have. Again no idea how\if it will work.

My feeling is that it will not be a one size fits all solution to do what you want for one file let alone in a batch format based on the quick Google I did. I would expect anything that could do such a thing to be up there in the Search Links and nothing stands out.
