It's shame that the world is changing and you do not make any step forward... the whole world knew that W7 is on the way, but BEHRINGER team did not found the time to publish drivers for their products running on Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit). Worse, for them as there is no 64 bit versions of OS ( i found that there i no Vista 64 bit driver for their product).
So, if any of you are trying to make your Behringer hardware work on W7 - read answer I got from Behringer online support:

Customer (Milos Jelenkovic) 17/11/2009 06.51 AM
Hello there,
yesterday i have installed my new OS - Windows 7, but i seems that USB audio interface cannot be installed. It says error 0x0006. I have turn off windows automatic driver install, thought it may help (because it installs it own drivers for USB Audio Interface), but still no help.
What should i do?
Have I t wait for Windows 7 drivers?

Dear Milos,

Windows 7 drivers are currently under development. Please check our website in the near future for announcement and release date.

Best regards,
Behringer Support

So, everyone that have same problem as me should fall into hibernation while Behringer is writeing drivers for W7 (32 bit & 64 bit version!)... those with XP or Vista 64 bit should buy some other hardware by some other manufacturer.

Best regards...

I had a Behringer BCF2000 Control Surface that I was trying with my Windows 7, 64 bit OS and Sonar 8.5. The BCF2000 was recognized and installed without problems by Windows 7. However, I had problems getting it to work with Sonar 8.5 and returned it to American Musical Supply.

All you had to do was tell Sonar the Asio driver you were using and then set inputs/outputs.

I had it set up according to the instructions on the Sonar forum for using this unit with Sonar which included setting it for the Mackie mode. Sonar recognized it was there but that's all it would do. I couldn't get any further. It may have been I had a defective unit.

ugh...

My BCF2000s were working perfectly in ProTools 8.0.3 in XP. I upgraded to 7, and now they send, but don't recieve... I get HUI errors in PT, and the sliders don't mix. I tried using BCF edit to make sure they communicate, and nada. They're running the latest firmware (1.1) and have the 64 bit drives... and yes, I tried upgrading to ProTools 8.0.4 as well. Anybody else having these issues?

Update. I had a defective unit. I got a second one later and it works OK. I'm able to control Sonar 8.5.3 PE with the BCF2000.

Another person on the Sonar forum, recently, had the same problem with a BCF2000. The first one worked, but not properly. He returned it to the store and they exchanged it and the new one works.

I've got the Behringer UMX610, and the UAC222 and both of them work fine.
I'm running Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, 24Gb Memory, 120Gb SSD, 1.5 Tb 7200 HDD, Asus M5A97 R2.0, Asus GTX550 Ti, custom build. I am running Cakewalk Sonar X2. As stated above you have to actually go into Sonar and tell it which driver to use. I did not install the Realtek Audio driver when I installed everything on my computer.
If the Behringer driver is still giving you problems you can always d/l and use ASIO4All, it's free, stable, and it works. Having said that you still need to set everything up in Sonar. Driver, Samples, etc......

Hope that helps.

I just bought a Roland Quad-Capture audio interface as I was using the HDMI on my computer and the latency when recording multiple tracks and tons of Software Synths was just killing me. So, I will hook it up this weekend and hopefully that will solve the issue.
