I recently received my new desktop computer. It came with Windows 7 Ultimate installed on one of the 3 hard drives.
The first thing I installed was Belarc Advisor. I did this so I would have a full inventory of my system. I have been using Belarc for many years.
I downloaded Belarc onto another computer I own and copied the installation file onto my new computer. The installation went great and I was able to get a complete inventory of my new computer.
I forgot that I already had it installed. The other day I downloaded the installation file again and attempted installation. I have always downloaded from the Belarc website.
When I tried the reinstallation, I got the following message box:

This software requires an additional 14857038 K bytes free on the C:
> drive. Please remove any unnecessary files and try again.

I have uninstalled several times. I have used the standard Windows Uninstall without success. I have used Revo without success. I have sent a few messages to their support email address.
I have also done the standard windows disk cleanup. Their reply suggested that I inquire here.

Some things come to mind.
Did you use or are you trying to use the paid for or the free Belarc?
I have only used the free version so that is the only one I have some knowledge of.

I have no idea why one would copy Belarc from one computer to another.

Belarc has it own uninstaller that is downloaded when one downloads Belarc.

Everything Belarc on my computer is 5.4mb and that includes the uninstaller.
You will need room for the logs it produces.
If your C Windows partition is full or close to it could be the problem because of the room required for the logs.
When you moved Belarc from one compute to another you might of also moved the old logs from the old system to the new system.
Belarc could be confused because it see your old system and the new system at the same time.
Can you find the Belarc .exe on your computer?
