start>search>type cmd>type ipconfig /all Use built in snipping tool (type snipping in search) to take a snapshot of results, and upload it to us using the attachment icon (shaped like a papaerclip) in the reply forms

I use Belkin N wireless adapter when on the road and my internal WiFi adapter don't find the signal; Belkin sometimes shows full signal quality when the internal shows only one or two bars out of five.

Anyway, I got it to work only after uninstalling Belkin's own drivers and installing Windows generic wireless driver. After that it's been working perfectly.

Like Ken said here above, just uninstall Belkin and let Windows find the drivers. Should work.

I really don't know why your system can not find the built-in driver. If you still have enough patience to try, you could try this:

  • disconnect Belkin USB
  • uninstall all Belkin drivers using Device Manager
  • uninstall BElkin software using Control Panel > Programs and Features
  • reboot your computer
  • reconnect Belkin USB
  • let Windows install the drivers
It really should work, driver is included in all builds since build 7100.

Sorry, maybe I was not clear enough.

Go to Device Manager and right click Network Adapters > Belkin. Choose Properties, choose Driver, and post here the Driver Provider an Driver Version.
