That's one way to look at it, but personally, if they advertise a rebate, then I expect to receive it. If I don't, then I'm not likely to buy anything else of their's. One type of rebate that I have had good luck with so far, is Mr. Rebates. Sometimes the percentage paid is nothing to get excited about, but big or little, they do seem to pay properly and on time. Also, the rebate that they pay is on top of any other discounts from the vendors or manufacturers.
