Solved Best Graphics Card, I can upgrade to.

I have a HP HPE-541f. I was wondering what is the best graphics card I can upgrade to and if I can keep my current Graphics Card and Add another one.

The best card you can get is the one you can afford. Just go to a higher series AMD card. Something in the 7000 series.

You can only put 1 video card on that board, it only has 1 PCI-Express slot

And you could always max out the memory to 16 GBs (but 8 GBs is fine)

But you might want to spend the money on a really good 550 to 650 watt Power Supply

Your board supports PC3-10600 @ 1333 MHz and that`s what you have now, so that`s what you should use. Like I said 8 GBs is fine, don`t waste money on that yet.

If a new video card is what you want, then that`s what you should concentrate on, then a good power supply with the proper power connections for the new card.

Our member Solarstarshines knows a thing or 2 about AMD cards, I will ask him to advise you, but you will have to let him know what you want to spend on a new card.

Being it is 460w there is no card you can use but the one you have
Most AMD cards from 7750 on up to the 7790 all need 500to 600w if you are willing to get a better Power supply then i would look in that direction but that is the best you'll get for that PSU

I didn't notice you wanted DDR3 those cards are kind of hard to find unless you look on Ebay or Amazon

lol yeah DDR3 takes less juice but still like using onboard if he goes that route

Are you talking about general case cooling or are you talking about CPU cooling ?
