Netbooks are rubbish. You can build a better laptop with a barebones chassis. It won't work well with too many apps open.
I disagree. Netbooks serve a very specific purpose. In our case, our MSI is small enough to fit on our kitchen counter and enables my wife and I to check our email, access the Internet, and do basic MSOffice work.
Yes, but why would you pay for that? You can't really do anything else.
Simple. Because it meets our needs at a very low price. Hard to argue with that, I would think (though I get the sense that you will find a way.
