Best way how to channel my RAM???

What would be the best 2 X 1 GB (I only have 2 slots) or 1 X 2 GB module or 2 GB + 1 GB.
Witch of these 3 options would give me the best out of what I have?

2 GB + 1 GB....Is the best if that 's your only choice ...
I have the same 3GB set up and it works out fine ..

2x1GB will give you dual channel

2GB+1GB will only be single channel (mixed density)

You'd notice more benefit from more capacity though. (3GB)

Although your question has been answered, theres 1 other alternative.

For the best of both worlds,space and dual channel, why not pick up a matched kit of 2x2GB (4GB total)

In a 32bit OS, youll loose approx 512MB of it as it can not address all of the space.

However, you will have approx 3.5GB useable, and in dual channel mode.
I think this may be the better option than either of the other options.

My guess is it would be approximatly the same cost.
