Hi Everyone - hopefully this post is in the right section.
My windows 7 PC runs well throughout the day. Recently on start up I get a 1331 beep from the phoenix bios.

After several re start attempts I am taken to the 'repair' option - this eventually takes me to the point where I can use the last restore point. Then all is well and off I go again. Phoenix bios beep codes.

I believe the code 1331 equates to auto size DRAM.
Your help to overcome this problem would be much appreciated

Windows 7 Pro 64bit 6.1 build 7601 SP1
Thanks in advance

Some further information which may be of help(?)
The computer is a Fujitsu Esprimo P5730.
I have just removed cleaned and replaced the ram - I noted that this was double sided.
Checking various source's, I believe that the original ram was (apparently) single sided?

Is this discrepancy likely to be a possible cause? I have since read that this is a fairly 'usual' cause of the error being experienced intermittently

Since re seating the RAM - all seems to be OK.
