Hi i've heared that Bitdefender (the paid for anti-virus software) doesn't work well with gmail or hotmail. is that true? thanks

I'm not sure if you will get too many options on how well Bitdefender works on XP in this Windows 7 forum.

Why not use MSE? Even with all of MSE's flaws, it will work with the websites that you mentioned.

i am getting a new windows 7 pc, and i really like bitdefender and it doesn't apply to XP anymore. Now, will bitdefender clash will gmail or hotmail using windows 7? thanks again

FWIW I tested BitDefender on my test machine (7 64bit) and no problems at all with hotmail or my providers email service. I just found it a bit (no pun) naggy.
