Hello and thanks for reading this. My issue is that I tried to install a custom Windows 7 theme that didn't go so well. After the Welcome screen, I get a black screen with a cursor that responds to the mouse being moved. There is no background, icons, start button or taskbar. I can open Task Manager and open up Google Chrome and get on the internet which is how I am typing this. When I hit the Windows key, nothing happens. I did note that explorer.exe isn't in the processes tab in Task Manager. It seems like something is up with explorer.exe. There is barely any processes going on. Here is the list:
The services tab is fine and dandy with multiple things running such as Bonjour and Kodak items. However there are some processes with their status as stopped.
Please help me if possible. Thanks.
winlogon.exe
taskmgr.exe
taskhost.exe
rundll32.exe
dwn.exe
csrss.exe
A lot of chrome.exe
