I did a fresh install of windows 7 multiple times and on different drives. Every installation has given me a frozen black screen with a white bar at login after the first batch of updates. Occasionally the computer will make it into windows but will soon after freeze.

Things I have tried:
Reinstalling windows 7 fresh multiple times on different drives
Clean boot running only microsoft items
Ran Memtest for 4 passes (0 errors)
Note: Safe mode runs perfectly, no issues

drivers installed; cannot update to sp1 as reg windows does not run(thus the whole reason for posting),

and crystal disk does not find my disk (as noted it is running through a raid card) which I assure you is not part of the problem as I have tried running a completely different disk not on the raid card for the OS and ran into the same issues.
