Solved Black Screen of Death combined with desktop freezing

I'm currently running the driver verifier but prior to and after beginning it, I'm unable to open my Google Chrome browser. Wonder if there is a msconfig startup setting or service that is disabled. I can open internet explorer and Mozilla Firefox though

Just stick to running Driver Verifier for a minimum of 24 hrs - forget about Chrome for the time being.

After the 24 hours is up, which is at 1am Central time, should I run a new DM Log Collector while the Driver Verifier is still running or turn off the Driver Verifier first?

You only need to run DM Log Collector if during the 24hrs, you get another BSOD.

Ok. So far I have not experienced the Black screen or desktop freeze upon startup, I want to attribute this to me adjusting which programs and services load on startup. When I did a normal startup that had 100% of programs and services loading, it would freeze and cause the black screen. Should I do that to force a BSOD while under Driver Verifier so we can see what is going on?

I attempted to manually induce a BSOD and/or screen freeze with the steps listed earlier but I was unsuccessful, as fate would have it. I conducted the dm log collector afterwards and am attaching the full ZIP file here. It looks like no dump files were created again unfortunately. Yesterday, I removed all of the Windows Updates that were installed for 2015 so I am reinstalling them again and will keep the driver verifier running in the event that I get a BSOD.

Update: I have performed Windows Update without an issue. The system and startup is more sluggish than usual but I will attribute that to the Driver Verifier. It looks like the issue is not occurring anymore, at least I hope that it won't come back. Is it safe to disable Driver Verifier now?
