Hey folks, i just registered here as i really need some help. Here is the problem.
I just got some Asus Aspire to fix for a friend, and its in very bad shape.
Problem was HDD was full, and after emptying it, windows droped warning that HDD is failing. After running SMART check, Ralocated Sectors Cound has hit treshold, but everything else is ok. I know that using such HDD is risk but its for gaming and facebook so no harm done if it fails - i already backed up files that are important.

Anyway, restart it failed to startup windows, restarting on windows logo, and after few repair attemps started droping screen of death. So i hooked up HDD to my PC and reinstalled windows. After returning it to laptop it droped me screen of death (again). If HDD is hooked up onto PC, there are no problems, but if i hook it up on laptop, windows fails to start showing screen of death. Im already suspecting that ram is failing but are there any other ideas?
