Black Screen Out of sudden

New Pc 1 month old...
out of sudden black screen but not monitor problem(tested with other monitor)
seem like pc went to sleep mode but sleep mode was set off
happen while watching movies and not happen when playing game so I confused
send to shop for repair but they cant find the problem...

Look in Control Panel, Device Manager, Display Adapters, right click the gpu and look at Properties, Power Management tab...uncheck box says 'Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power'
Also check your screen saver timeout...

Also go into the Advanced Power Options for your power plan and make sure that the multimedia setting is as follows:



That might keep the black screen away.

thx for reply..will do that later since my pc not yet with me...i just send it last week for checkup and they said it went to sleep mode...so need extra advice since the shop cant detect problem

hi guys.. i still having black screen problem even after doing the changes you suggested.. it appear that black screen also happen even without doing anything when i left my desktop overnight...

turn off all the power options, set monitor to never go off, set pc to never sleep or hibernate, set screensaver to none.

I have done all the above but problem still occur... and when this problem occur i have try to move mouse nothing happen it do not wake up and seem like it do not go for sleep mode..so not sure what is happening

anyone can help? recent problem: black screen but sound still ongoing? it is due to overheat of gc?
