Blocking issues with 2 separate systems

Good evening. I installed a new SSD hard drive, I put another operating system, identical to the one already present in the old HD SSD, namely Windows 7 ultimate. So at startup I can choose which one to start the 2 from the dual boot. A lock occurs in the new system: after the desktop starts, the system freezes, the mouse and keyboard do not respond. If I force the shutdown on restart, the system starts again, then also continuously as long as i start after finishing the session from the new one. The problem of blocking in the new, occurs ONLY after closing a previous session with the old system. If, on the other hand, I start the old system after using the new one, the problem does not arise. Any suggestions? Thank you.
The PC is about 5 years old, it always worked great, asus motherboard, I5 processor, 8 gb of ram

Welcome to the forum. What are you using as the boot manager is windows or other. Do both windows have the same serial number? It sounds like windows is confused and may be writing data to the wrong drive. Are they both clean install not cloned?

il boot manager è di windows, all'avvio la schermata mi chiede quale dei 2 sistemi operativi devo scegliere. i 2 sistemi sono uguali hanno lo stesso numero di serie, li ho installati separatamente in 2 HD diversi non sono clonati

the boot manager is windows, at startup the screen asks me which of the 2 operating systems should I choose. the 2 systems are the same they have the same serial number, I installed them separately in 2 different HDs they are not cloned
