Blue & Black SODs during video stream

Hello everyone,

I would like to request some help with the blue and black screens of death I've been experiencing on my MSI GT60 laptop since the middle of May. Before May 16th, I only experienced 2 BSOD last year and within the past month I've experienced 10. I've tried figuring it out on my own, but I need assistance from people who are more apt in diagnosing BSODs, understanding the lingo of the WinDbg, and able to walk me through the fixes.

On May 15th, I downloaded an open source software called Kinovea to analyze videos of a person's walking gait. And it was after then I started seeing the BSODs. I uninstalled the program thinking it was taking up too much RAM and causing the crash (despite the 16GBs of RAM installed). Then I started experiencing a crash by streaming video online - via YouTube & Hulu. Then I thought maybe my graphics card was getting too hot, so I started to run my cooler boost when playing video, and it lasted a few days, but then the BSODs started up again. I haven't experienced any problems playing Skyrim or videos stored on my computer just those online.

At times, my computer will give me a black screen with a looping sound that ultimately sounds like a buzzing. During the blue screens, I would see "Driver Not Equal or Less Than" or something about a "Bad Pool". After either of these, I would do a hard reset.

I have run the "Windows Memory Diagnostic" and the "Windows Performance Recorder" tools, but came up with nothing. All of my drivers are up to date. I've read a little about stress tests, but not sure which I should perform. I do have WinDbg and was able to see the probable causes, i.e ndis.sys, tcpip.sys, nwifi.sys, and ntoskrnl.exe. However, I don't know where to go from here and need guidance. Any help is much appreciated!!

Also a small side note, at times my display would get horizontal lines and anything visible seemed to be echoed three times across the screen. I've attached a picture of this. It seems to be a random occurrence and lasts only 1 or 2 min. I've assumed it's my graphics card, but I don't know for certain.

Edit 6/22/15- Also, by monitoring with Speccy, I've noticed during idle my laptop's CPU's temp is typically 65-72 degrees Celsius. Is that normal for Intel i7 4700 processors?

Free up the startup. Windows does not need any other program to auto start with it, but the auto start programs often conflicts and causes various problems including BSODs.

1. Click on the Start button
2. Type “msconfig (without quotes), click the resulting link. It will open the System Configuration window.
3. Select the “Startup” tab.
4. Deselect all items other than the antivirus.
5. Apply > OK
6. Accept then restart.

Then try video streaming again. If it BSODs, follow the Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions again and let us see the new logs.

Hi Arc (& everyone else),

My laptop just had 2 BSODs with different causes for error: ndis.sys and tcpip.sys. After I restarted after the first one, I brought up Firefox and started typing in the address of this website, it blue screened with the tcpip and Driver Less Than or Equal. I've attached the zip.

I was able to stream video online without BSODs since decreasing the auto start program list, but the most recent BSODs I wasn't streaming video. I was merely waiting for the graphics on TomorrowWorld's website to load and the ndis BSOD occurred.

If you have any more suggestions about the blue screens, I would greatly appreciate it!

So disabling Killer from startup was not enough for you. Now uninstall this ....
