I wouldn't say I'm new here. I have creeped on these forums for quite a while, searching for solutions to my own problems. When this problem came up, I figured it would be best to post here.

As the title says, I made the mistake of updating as many drivers as I could with DriverPack Solution. Now, at seemingly random times (could be ten minutes, could be five hours), I get a blue screen. When it first occurred, I did indeed panic. I thought that possibly DriverPack dowloaded a virus posing as a driver. So, I ran MSE, MBAM, among many other AV, AM programs. They all came up with nothing. I can only assume that it isn't a virus, but an incompatible driver.

Anyways, if anyone wouldn't mind taking a look at files and giving me some direction here, that would be greatly appreciated.

Uninstall all Intel Rapid Storage applications. We will look at updating that later

Completely uninstall the existing NVidia driver, then once you reboot visit this site to automatically find the appropriate driver:
NVIDIA Driver Downloads - Automatically Detect NVIDIA Products

Generic advice : only download drivers from the manufacturer sites - don't use bulk driver sites such as DriverPack Solution.

Okay. I did all that, except for uninstalling the Intel Rapid Storage applications, as I could not locate any on my system. The blue screens still occurred and even became more frequent,

Using DriverPack Solution was more of a lazy way out and I realize that was extremely stupid. After taking a look at what it updated, some of the drivers were for things that aren't even on my system. Normally, I would never use a utility like that, but like I said, I had a lot of drivers that needed updating and manually updating each one would take a very long time.

Finally, I took another easy way out and just restored my system to factory. It needed to be done anyways, so it wasn't that much of an inconvenience.

Sorry for taking your time, but thank you for taking a look at it. I really appreciate it, more than you know. Have a good weekend and stay classy!
