Blue screen, PC rarely boots properly

Hi, two days ago I recently installed a new graphics card into my computer. it's a nvidia geforce gtx 550 ti.

The first time I booted my system it worked great. No problems at all. Then I put my computer into sleep mode, went to work, and came home to "windows has recovered from an error"

I restarted my PC, and now it won't boot. It loads up, loads the windows logo, then the lights on my mouse/keyboard turn off and my computer restarts itself over and over.

The only way I'm able to boot it is by going into safe mode.

Any ideas on why this is happening? My current driver version is 9.18.13.3788

Boot into Safe Mode, then remove all NVidia drivers and components. Now boot as normal and let Windows Update run and install the driver offered. Don't update any further - monitor the system for stability.

If it crashes after the above has been done, then follow these steps:

1. Download the DM Log Collector application to your desktop by clicking the link below

DM Log Collector.exe

2. Run it by double-clicking the icon on your desktop, and follow the prompts.
3. Locate the .ZIP file that is created on your desktop, and upload it here in your next reply.
