Blue screen whenever I boot the computer - just started today

Starting mid day today whenever we start the computer it gets to the point of loading the OS and en crashes. When I go to the trouble shooting section I safe mode it provides the following information:

Not sure what caused this to start as I was not the one using it at the time.

If you are able to boot to safe mode without any issues... Typically its a driver problem... Most often video driver. Can uninstall in safe mode... Reboot and see if boots. If yes... Update driver when boots

I uninstalled nvidia in safe mode and then rebooted. It came up fine without crashing using the VGA card, although the screen is really messed up looking in safe mode and in the VGA mode.

Once it finishes booting up it reinstalls the display driver. When I ask select the driver and ask it to check for updates, it thinks for a bit and then comes back with "current driver is the most up to date.

When I reboot after reinstalling the display driver the crash blue screen returns.

Well that's good, we've at least isolated the problem. We need to download updated display driver from manufacturer (i.e. card manufacturer or mobo manufacturer). Do you know how to determine what kind of card you have?

Once it installs the driver after reboot, click start, type device manager, hit enter. Under display, you'll see what kind of adapter you have. Next, you can download an updated driver from manufacturer (nvidia, ati, etc). In MOST cases, that fixes problem. There will also at times be an option to roll back a driver, or, if you have a store bought machine (dell, gateway, etc), there will be a driver folder with a display driver in it. At the very least, it will get you back to things working before the BSOD.
