I formatted my sis' laptop cause it had too much bs on it, I used double driver to backup a few drivers.
installed windows 7 SP1, put the drivers back on it and updated completely.

now we get BSOD's while browsing basic websites on firefox/chrome, also had one last night while updating.

apparently the two last BSOD's (firefox) were caused because of faulty GPU(drivers)?

what I did so far:
- uninstalled the GPU drivers thro device manager, windows reinstalled it.

- tried using chrome

issue persists

Hi Chulain,

Drivers shouldn't be backed up, but reinstalled.

Please uninstall everything of AMD using Display Driver Uninstaller and install new drivers from Toshiba. Be sure to install as less as possible software using custom/advanced options, you can use this tutorial to do so :ar: AMD Graphics Drivers - Install Without Catalyst Install Manager - Windows 7 Help Forums

Done that, was still getting BSOD.
Formatted again without installing the backup drivers, everything is fine now.

Thanks for your effort.

Its what I suspected, any other backup drivers were likely either improper reinstalled or caused problems for any kind of reason.
