Welcome,

I have analyzed your dmp files. The probable cause is wireless drivers or modem drivers. Update them or just uninstall and install the most current from the manufacturers website.

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000007e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
Arguments:
Arg1: c0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 825c6703, The address that the exception occurred at

Well that explains a lot. This only started happening after I plugged in a mobile modem for a while yesterday. The blue screen never came up when I worked off of our house modem back home.

Direct USB or via USB hub?

Hi, I have also experienced this problem using a Huawei 1820 USB 3G modem. I have been using the modem for months but only had this problem after I connected it to an i-rocks IR-1406 powered USB hub.

I was also interested if the modem was connected to a USB extension or hub?

Nope, it plugs directly into the USB port though it did come with a USB Extension Cable. And it's a Huawei model too.

On another note, more blue screens have been appearing -

Copy of mini-dump attached.
This time I wasn't using the mobile modem at all, which leads me to suspect something else could be awry with my system.

I doubt that this caused by vegas90.exe, product Vegas Pro, Sony corporation.

More troubling blue screening in the world that is my troubling laptop. :( Nowadays, it crashes at least three times, without any warning or explanation.

Hopefully the mini-dump contains some answers:

Avast isn't that only antivirus?.

Ok, I just wondered, because i had a lot of blue screens and found out that it was ZONEALARM firewall, that caused that.

Is it avast 5.0. Free, pro or internet security?

Are you using some other kind of firewall?
