Hello NWIN

A few questions
- what version of Bluetooth is speaker and laptop?
- Does Bluetooth need enabling in BIOS? ie can you see your BT device in Device Manager?

2.1 Laptop wont detect 4.1 Bluetooth Speaker.

You need a USB dongle with higher or same Bluetooth version as the speaker, for it to work.

why do they do this knowing that it hardly possible to buy anything to upgrade anything like bluetooth which is a very common component should i not be able to do it by a software upgrade or so bc buying sucks for an old laptop and i don't want to invest more

Typically, a device with a new version will be backwards compatible with an older version but will only have the capabilities of the oldest of the 2 versions.

That being said, I have encountered Bluetooth devices that would not connect no matter what I did but worked fine when used with a cheap USB Bluetooth dongle as suggested by iko22 above.
