I am attempting to restore from a system image, but keep receiving a boot manager error message:
Status: 0xc000000e
Info: The boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible

The computer boots no problem normally, it is only when restarting to restore the system image. Any suggestions?

Are you booting from a system repair CD in order to restore the image?
If so are you saying the CD doesn't boot?

This was on a netbook without a CD drive. I was eventually able to setup a USB repair disk to get the imaging to work. While doing this was told that the BCD entry was missing for the recovery environment. Any ideas on why this would have happened?

So it's not a system image that you made, it's the recovery environment- correct?
What is the netbook? What does the manual say about the recovery process?

No, it was a system image. but in order to restore the image, Windows restarts into a recovery environment. It was this rebooting into the recovery environment that wasn't working, the image was fine. When I was finally able to get into the recovery environment using the repair disk (on a usb) I was able to restore the image without any problems.
The netbook is an Asus T101MT, and I never looked at the manual, this should be an OS issue, not a computer issue.
