Make sure Windows Boot Manager is first boot device in the UEFI/BIOS firmware.

It is, and has been.

I will follow the instructions I was just given on cleaning all boot code from other drives.

alright I've wiped the hard drives using the clean all command. All seems to be running pretty well so far.

I have three hard drives one is my system drive with a partition with all of my pictures videos documents etc.I have two other hard drives, one hard drive for programs and games, the other an ext4 partition that I plan on using for Linux.

On another topic I am looking for ways to dual boot Linux Mint with my existing Windows 7. I intend to accomplish this by unplugging the windows drive while installing Linux. After that's completed I'll plug the other drive back in and dual boot using the BIOS to select the operating system of choice.

Have you done this? How well has it worked?

Thanks for your help!
